Municipality of Dumarao

The Municipality of Dumarao, officially recognized as Banwa sang Dumarao in Capiznon/Hiligaynon and Bayan ng Dumarao in Tagalog, is a 2nd class municipality located in the province of Capiz in the Philippines. With a population of 49,506, according to the 2020 census. Dumarao is located 45 kilometers (28 miles) away from Roxas City.

The town was established by Spanish settlers in 1580 and was founded under the patronage of Our Lady of Snows.
