Municipality of Panay

The Municipality of Panay, pronounced as Pan-ay, is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Capiz, Philippines. It has a population of 48,890 people as recorded in the 2020 census. Pan-ay used to be the provincial capital of Capiz and is located 8 km east from Roxas City. The town is famous for the coral-stone Santa Monica Church, which is home to the largest Catholic Church bell in Asia.
